As part of this external projects unit I wanted to up-date my portfolio website and also some of my social media accounts to work alongside the ‘getting my work out there’ concept.
I have used my website but haven’t up-dated it in a few months/ years and feel it needs a refresh and also to put some of my degree work on there, so you can see my full skill set.
I have used my website for job applications to show my portfolio, so thought it would be good to keep it up to date and use some of my best work to promote myself better.
This is some of the work on my website, these sections I am keeping for now, I will just add more to it. This is my surface pattern design work on products I sell myself.
I also take commissions at certain times of the year, and you can see my work here and shows the customer what sizes and work I can produce.
I started on my website and uploaded a lot of illustration work, and some pages from my children’s picture book which I am currently working on.
You can see above the illustration work I added, these are illustrations I created for my surface pattern designs, all created by hand using watercolours and mixed media. I also use these illustrations as examples for my tutoring to show learners styles and details in watercolour.
The next thing I need to do for the website is to put descriptions on each of the pieces of art work I have just added, this will help viewers find out more about my work, and also see what projects I have been apart of.
