Feedback from project 2

My proposal for the external projects is in my project plan which is about printers and publishers, although now it has since extended into my portfolio website and agents, this has been up-dated on my newer project plan, and explained why in the work.

My list of publishers and printers is in project 3 which I have just finished and submitted along with this feedback.

My feedback on point 1 is on my blog and in my project plan, I will link it again on this submission.

My main working technique is with watercolour paints and pencils with some acrylic ink for details, but I do use gauche and calligraphy in my spare time, but no this won’t be a direction I use moving forwards. My style is very much painterly with watercolours, this is where I feel most feedback has been positive and where people seem to love my illustrations most. Watercolour is my preferred paint and after having tried all the others out, I always come back to this and it is the most successful for me.

My style for children’s books will include collage with surface pattern, but added digitally. I do use digital brushes and work in these illustrations too, but only for small details and to clean up the image.

My InDesign work is for the art work and layout of the book, which I learnt more about in unit 3.1, I will do more of this in unit 3.3, as the current unit 3.2 as discussed with James Pyman will be concentrating on written work and images for my portfolio.

I will add my critical review link to this next submission for project 3, although I will be working on this in project 4.

My Harvard reference is listed on my blog within the first unit, I add to this each time I complete a piece of work to keep it up-dated, I usually wait until the end of the unit to make it alphabetical, as it saves time doing it in one go.

I can add more research breadth in to this unit to develop this area more, I will start in the next project for this.

My schedule of assignments is on the project plan, most weeks it will be sent on the Friday, but exact dates are on the plan, as planned to complete quickly when discussed with James.
