For the page spread 8&9 my tutor suggested having a different perspective and composition for the artwork illustration, and suggested viewing it from behind Rory, so he looked out onto the green and could see Flora. I thought this would be a great idea, it was something I was thinking of changing to make the book pages more interesting, but this angle would suit the story well.
I started back with a blank page, and sketched out a window with curtains scene, then added a rough sketch of Rory from behind in front of the window. I then added in some background, so a tree, then added in Flora looking sad sitting on the rocks. This is just a rough idea of the composition, but I like the perspective and think this could work well in the book.
