How has your body of self-directed work helped you examine your emerging practise?
The research I have done has helped my practise through understanding how to implement the visual illustration with words and also the key tricks of book illustration.
How have you applied relevant research methods and subject knowledge to test, inform, and develop your work?
The critical review has helped inform and develop my work by seeing that my oral and subject of the story is in keeping with other environmental books for children, it has raised my confidence and understanding which has developed my work so far.
How well have you presented informed connections between your research and practise interests?
I think my critical review and book work very well together, they have intertwined in nearly all the aspects and I think have fused in developing my practise even more.
How have you articulated your creative ideas and critical thinking, and have you used suitable communication methods to do this?
I think I have articulated my creative ideas well, I will add in extra work before the assessment deadline to show my full process in the later stages of building the book up in InDesign.
My critical thinking has been good, but have struggled to keep focus in the last few weeks due to the issues with moving, but I feel I will be able to really work on this in the time before assessment to really write down my thoughts.
