When I visited The London Illustration Fair, it was mainly a illustration fair not a book fair, a lot of stalls were selling art prints, posters and stickers.
There wasn’t any publishers, it was mainly for my product work to see what other illustrators were welling, you couldn’t take your own work unless you had a stall.
In my critical review in project 3.1 I have wrote about publishers who produce the subject matter I am working on.
I have looked into the Bologna book fair, one of my illustrator friends went last year, its defiantly something I would like to do in the future, and could write some pieces on it in this unit. But I did cover it previously in another previous unit.
I have not looked at the Eden Project or conservation projects in zoo’s etc, this could be a good point to extend and explore my critical review by.
I have produced a book for my ‘Creative book design’ unit, so no I wasn’t going to produce a book for this project, my main aim is to get the art work good enough to enter the Pan MacMillian competition in the future whether that’s 2026/27.
