So I started with Rory, and selected 4 poses that I wanted to improve from my work previously for the book.
I chose to work on him holding the broken tree branch.
Sitting on the leaf flying with Flora.
Standing looking grumpy.
Looking into the distance, side on view.
I then went on to look at Terrence as a character, now I was quite happy already with his design, facial expressions and look, but I had done 4 poses of him, so I could maybe get some more texture or detail into him, with mark making or mixed media texture.
So I drew him out so I could start to experiment on that further.
